We
have always had a passion for natural
herbal homeopathic remedies and
aromatherapy, and have enjoyed
the benefits of these centuries-old
therapies for decades. It has
been exciting to share our
knowledge of herbs and essential
oils with friends both old and new.
In early 1995, my husband
Ralph and I began making skin
care products for ourselves using
every resource we could find for
recipes and procedures! It was
a lot of testing and research before
we created some fantastic recipes
that blew away anything we'd been
able to purchase off the shelf!
That holiday season, we made a
small amount of products for friends
and family and the response we
got was, as they say in commercials "priceless".
In the process, we got completely
and thoroughly hooked! Since
that time, our products have
become more luxurious and sophisticated
as we incorporated a wider variety
of natural ingredients to pamper
the skin. We decided it was time
to share, and created Old Mill
Soaps and Sundries.
Today, we still make absolutely
every product in-house. We develop
the recipes, maintain control of every ingredient, make the products,
conduct product testing, design the labels, print the labels,
laminate the labels, package the product (including beadwork,
etc.), photograph the product, and finally we build and maintain
our own web site. Yes, it's a lot of work, yet we love what we
do, and that makes a big difference to us.
We truly hope that you enjoy using our products
